I've always had a passion for holidaying (who doesn't right?!) but the need for travel escalated in 2016 when my husband and I quit our jobs to go on a 3 month trip around South East Asia.

Since we've been back life hasn't really been the same... I spend much of my free time researching, planning and dreaming about our next trip - be it a weekend away in Europe, a longer holiday somewhere exotic or the next job-quitter!

Friends and family often joke about the amount we go away, but in 2019 as I was writing our "holiday hashtag" in the sand (#britzabroad - thank you Steve for the best surname!) the brainwave of starting this blog hit me.

So heres my little slice of the internet, full of tips, guides and advice about travelling the world, for any length of time, on a budget.
